Robot slows down after unplugging USB? Serial.print() can stall your loop. Comment it out or use a testMode switch before the track.

Line follower missing the white line? Our tracks are black floor with a white line. Measure white and black, then set the threshold as their average.
Why Does Your Robot See Ghosts? Sensor Noise
Robot brakes with nothing ahead? That is sensor noise. Do not trust one reading; average several ultrasonic samples first.
Why Won't My Robot Go Straight? Motor Calibration
Robot curves left or right when going forward? Two DC motors are never identical. Calibrate with leftSpeed / rightSpeed variables.
The delay() Trap: Do Not Put Your Robot to Sleep
Robot ignores buttons or obstacles? delay() freezes the CPU. Manage time with millis() without blocking the loop.
Power Management and the Common Ground Principle
Do not power motors from Arduino 5V. Use an external supply and always share common GND between power sources.
